At Powered By Coffee, we are very excited to be on the look out for a new WordPress developer to join our small (but hopefully growing) team!

We need a developer who is focused on WordPress. You’ll need to do a bit of HTML, CSS and JavaScript here and there the majority of your work will be helping with the WordPress side of our Projects.

You’ll need to know you’re way around how custom WordPress themes work, you’ll be helping make lots of them! Sometimes you’ll work on custom plugins, extending and integrating 3rd party plugins, and integration with external system comes up quite often as well.

Being able to debug a problem in a 3rd party plugin quickly and efficiently is going to be a big bonus in this role.

You will be helping out with existing projects, new projects, maintenance of a few support clients as well as helping us shape our tools and processes to build the best possible development environment.

We’d love it if you have experience with WooCommerce, Git, Composer, Twig, Timber and Vagrant but we can support you as you learn these technologies.

Ideally, you’ll have…

– 3 years PHP and WordPress Development experience
– HTML, CSS & JavaScript (up to jQuery level is fine)
– Willing and able to work remotely with our team and clients

What’s in it for you?

– Salary: DOE
– Holidays: up to 28 days
– Your choice of Windows or Apple hardware
– Conference and meet-up attendance budget
– Support to develop skills

Applying.

Send an email to jobs@poweredbycoffee.co.uk with a short description of why you’d like to work with us and why you think you’d be a good fit. Show us some projects you’ve worked on and how you were involved. It’s okay if they are with an agency you are currently at, we promise to keep them a secret.

No recruiters or agents, please!
